We read for 15 minutes and listened to a bookshare at the beginning of class. Students turned in their Vocab homework and the Literature Circle Evaluations. Students took notes on the process of writing a memoir and did a brainstorming exercise where they wrote down positive and negative significant events in their lives.
The students will be going on a field trip on Wednesday so they will not have Language Arts class tomorrow.
Homework: Study for the Friday Vocab Quiz, Weekly Reading Question (due Thursday), and bring Flowers For Algernon book to class on Thursday.
