Today we read for 15 minutes and listened to a bookshare. The students turned in their essays and I listened to feedback from the kids regarding the assignment and persuasive writing lessons. We finished class with a new grammar lesson on "commas." A lot of the students had some prior knowledge that they were able to contribute to the lesson
Homework: None. Remember to bring a book; we will be having a reading day due to the shortened classes.
