We read for 15 minutes and listened to a bookshare at the beginning of class. Students started their persuasive writing essay project. They will have the next several days to organize their arguments, write, and then revise their essays. The essays are based off of The Giver and they are due next Monday.
Homework: Work on persuasive essays and bring The Giver books to class.
